These batteries have one dead set, and they were recovered from hospital equipment. Medical batteries often don’t get used too much so they are perfect for solar storage and many other applications. They are not capacity tested. We checked the voltages on these and they have good voltage besides one set.
These batteries have something that looks like a BMS, but it is not. You will need to add a BMS to these. What looks like a BMS is actually a BMU which communicates to another system that will turn the battery on and off. Valence has one called the U-BMS as mentioned in the specs on the 4th photo, but it is not guaranteed to work with that system. It is very easy to add your own BMS. You can open the front access plate and have access to all the wiring to add your own BMS very easily. The BMS right now just communicates to something else so it will not shut down automatically. It simply just communicates.
