Product description on website says D size compatible but manufacturer’s box and insert do not; do not mention the tabs for D size (had to read other reviews to learn what the tabs were for; still don’t know what the two thumbscrews are for as there’s no mention of these parts);3. The D size tab adapters do not hold in place; must hold in place while placing D battery otherwise they fall over forward4.
